The council advises that the NSW Minister for Regional Transport and Roads has advised that it will not lift the covenant on land use at Spring Creek near Bombo Quarry.
Introduced in 1991, it applies to Council-owned vacant land, equivalent to 5 housing blocks along Glenbrook Drive at Spring Creek.
The covenant limits residential development on the blocks until the quarry activities cease.
