
The coming week is Federal budget week, and our State member for Kiama, Gareth Ward is concerned about reports that cuts to infrastructure projects in our region in next week’s Federal Budget are unacceptable.
This is particularly for projects that were election promises, like the money for local roads and the Nowra bypass – all of which are yet to be delivered.
On the federal scene, 10 South Coast schools will benefit from a share of $32 million in grants to upgrade school infrastructure and equipment.
As announced by the Federal Member for Gilmore, Fiona Phillips, those schools are Mogo Public School

• Sanctuary Point Public School
• Batemans Bay High School
• Milton Public School
• Shoalhaven Heads Public School
• Terara Public School
• Jamberoo Public School
• Moruya Public School
• Shoalhaven River College
