Kiama Council is encouraging the ratepayer’s input on how the state controls local government rates.
IPART, sets rate ‘pegs’ for all NSW councils each year & that is a maximum figure by which councils may increase their general income rate for the year.
For Kiama Council, The 2023-24 number is 5.1%.
