Residents of Kiama Downs and Minnamurra on June 1 reported to social media a strong foul smell that has yet to be explained.
While calls were made to the EPA to report it, others claimed it was blood and bone being spread on a nearby farm.
However, the fecal odour was also reported in Terralong St the next day; no explanation is forthcoming at this stage.
