Gareth Ward has finally announced his intention to stand for the state election poll on Saturday, 25th March.
He made the formal announcement at 5.30 last night (he made the expected announcement last Friday).
In 2011, Gareth became the first Liberal Member for the State Seat of Kiama and has continued to hold the seat, in May last year becoming independent.
Before 2011, Kiama was nominally Labour, held by Bob Harrison from 1981 and Matt Brown from 1999.
