The Gerringong Children’s Medical Research Institute Committee is still going strong after 64 years, with its most recent fundraiser South Coast Sings held at the Pavilion on Saturday, June 17.
The local committee was established in 1959 by Dorothy Bailey, and the oval near Gerringong Library is now named after her.
The group won the Kiama Council community group of the year in 2019 and holds regular fashion parades to support Jeans for Genes Day on August 4.
