The Gerringong & District Historical Society held another night at the museum last Thursday.
The speaker was Dr Roslyn Russel, who explored the diaries written by two women from very different social settings.
Una Falkiner was from, married a grazier and lived in the Riverina. The Jane Binks diaries were written from 1897 to 1947, are of particular significance for Gerringong and Berry.
Those diaries have been digitised to permit more access. The originals are displayed in the Gerringong museum.
The society has another two nights at the museum planned for the next two months and three more towards the end of the year.
