The Gerringong Museum is featuring an exhibition – until November 6 – titled ‘Remarkable’ with stories of Australians and their boats.
Remarkable is a panel exhibition presented by the museum and the Australian Maritime Museum Council and is the result of a national project with workshops held across the country.
It is complemented by local stories and materials curated by the Gerringong Historical Museum. There’s a display in the gallery of early black & white images of Gerringong, Werri beach, Gerroa and Seven Mile Beach.
The display is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am until midday and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am until 3 pm.
