Managing damage caused by sea levels emerged as a compontent of a public meeting as held at the Kiama Pavilion by Kiama Council in May as part of Stage 3 of developing a Coastal Management Program.
This covers the entire length of the coast covered by the Kiama LGA. Stage 2, which was a series of technical studies was competed in June 2022.
Stage 5 will cover implementation , monitoring evaluating and reporting.
The report particularly focused on local coastal areas expected to experience tidal inundation within a hundred years.
