Live shows on Kiama Community Radio are planned to start broadcasting within weeks.
An Introduction to Broadcasting course will be run at the KCR office in the Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11, from 2- 4 pm.
Topics on Friday will include Planning a Broadcast, Elements of a Program and Program Content. The Saturday topics will include Preparation before entering the studio, Tips before a live program and Microphone techniques.
Studio equipment operation training is a separate component and will be held another time.
