Kiama Mayor and councillors have attended a financial workshop presented by the Council’s fiscal consultants KPMG.
According to a release from the council, the information conveyed during the workshop was nothing new, but given the depth, complexity and urgency of the current financial circumstances, the workshop was established by Mayoral minute to help better understand the current position and to chart the way forward.
Councillors have requested a second workshop to further consider improving cash flow.
