Kiama Winter Festival has opened from Friday, with the ice rink opened at School Flat Park in Kiama. The rink features penguins to hold onto for shaky skaters and has igloos nearby to eat something warm from the food trucks.
There are concerts held by Kiama Council’s Sentral Youth Service on the Orry Kelly stage in Hindmarsh Park for local up and coming artists over the weekend as well.
Once darkness falls, a series of illuminated projections will feature including from Luke Turk of Incirratta and Seven Marks Gallery, similar to light projections in Sydney’s Vivid festival.
