Minister for Local Government Ron Hoenig has described the building of Blue Haven as an egregious expense in a recent visit to Kiama Council.
Mayor Neil Reilly, Member for Kiama Gareth Ward MP and our CEO Jane Stroud met the Minister at Parliament House, Sydney, this week.
Mayor Reilly said he used the meeting to thank the Minister for his frank appraisal of the previous Council’s decision-making concerning aged care capital investments.
