First designs of the new Shellharbour Hospital were released last week.
Health Minister Brad Hazzard said the community can now view the plans in person and offer feedback to further inform the new facility’s design.
He said, “Hospitals are very much the heart of the community because they are responsible for both the health of their patients and the communities in which they operate.”
The state government acquired the preferred greenfield site for the new Shellharbour Hospital at Dunmore Road.
The development is currently estimated to cost 700 million dollars.
