Kiama Council met last Tuesday night again & reviewed in detail a letter from the state local government minister which detailed her intervention, which apparently is already underway.

The temporary advisor appointed as part of the Performance Improvement order has spoken with the Council CEO and commenced a review of the books.

The council had already resolved on 13 October to sell Bonaira (subject to land reclassification), including the 134-bed Residential Aged Care Home, 57 Independent Living Units, around 200 provided community home support packages and 300 community transport clients.

The Tuesday meeting also approved a Kiama Heights development on Elanora Road.
