Destination Kiama has recently opened round two of Destination Event Funding. The organisation calls for expressions of interest from the community and local operators to create a list of partners.
$330,000 in NSW Government funding will be spent by the council on local events over the coming months.
The IGNITE Winter Festival Ice Rink was so successful ticket sales made a profit of approximately $90,000.
Destination Kiama is especially interested in some new event concepts such as a local food/produce event as well as an Indigenous-themed event and a grassroots festival designed for children.
