The Jamberoo Pub has celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Socceroos in fine style.
On 1st June, a century ago, Australia played its first International soccer match in Dunedin against New Zealand.
Football Australia will ask fans to vote for 23 players to be the Team of the century. Fans can choose from the six hundred and twenty-two men who have represented Australia in that one hundred years.
The Jamberoo pub is owned by James Warren, the nephew of Aussie soccer great Johnny Warren. It is host to the Johnny Warren Foundation museum dedicated to Aussie soccer history. On 17th June, the pub hosted players Darryl and Lance Sharp and 40 other soccer tragics.
