Department of Planning state government assistance has been announced by the local member for Kiama, Gareth Ward, for four local businesses.
Australian Food and Pharmaceutical Industries Pty Ltd will receive $810,000 for modernisation of equipment to meet international demand for their product.
ProBev International Pty Ltd, $220,000, to upgrade existing equipment and for staff training.
Nowra Chemical Manufacturers Pty Ltd has been awarded $150,000 for installing new production lines to increase production.
Also, $100,000 for purchasing a centrifuge at the Gerringong based Stoic brewery to speed up the production and improve the quality of the final product.
