In local Kiama Taxis news, deer have been spotted just north and south Kiama only last weekend.
One deer estimated at over six feet tall was seen by a local taxi driver on the off ramp leading from the Princes Highway to Minnamurra last Sunday about 9 pm.
Another local Kiama taxi driver later reported seeing a deer the same night just south of Gerringong.
