This week is book week, celebrated since 1945.
Kiama and Gerringong Libraries are hosting various fun events, activities and competitions. The libraries will be touring local schools & featuring a visit from children’s author R A Spratt, known for Peski Kids, Friday Barnes and the Nanny Piggins books.
Kiama Library will be hosting a Book Week Dreamtime story time and craft sessions for pre-schoolers on Wednesday, August 24, with special guests Gumaara, an Aboriginal tour group and education company that delivers authentic Indigenous experiences for all based on the traditions of the Dharawal and Yuin Nation.
