Kiama Council is responding to LGA’s – Long Grass Area concerns from residents with a note on Facebook & their website advising that the grass is growing abundantly in most areas due to the current spate of warm and wet weather.
The wet ground can be difficult and dangerous to mow. Some staff shortages are causing delays to the usual schedule of mowing and maintaining parks, playgrounds, reserves, and sports grounds.
The situation is expected to continue until beyond the Easter break.
