The Kiama Council’s new Youth Workshop held last week at the Pavilion was well attended by local high and primary schools who discussed two significant issues particularly important to young people: local housing and recreational facilities.
Councillors split up and joined different teams to ‘workshop’ problems and solutions.
The new format for the annual youth engagement meeting proved a big hit, with lots of discussion, debate and ideas.
